An arrest warrant has been issued in Dublin for a Englishman accused of stalking reclusive Irish songbird Enya.
The man, 62-year-old Roger Jones, was charged with stalking Enya last year, but failed to appear at a scheduled court date in Dublin to answer the allegations. Now the hunt is on to locate him.
Enya, in an interview last year, said of her sometimes strange followers, “I’ve had to deal with stalking from the beginning. It’s necessary not to focus on it because then you get very paranoid; you close yourself away.”
