Minced pies? You probably meant Mince Pies, a traditional British sweet. Cadbury, that great old English chocolate company. Trifle, that traditional English dessert. Creme de Menthe? That French liqueur. Vodka? That Russian spirit. Eggnog, that nutritious central European drink. Mulled wine? The traditional English Christmas beverage. Black and Tan. An expression never used in Ireland for obvious reasons. What a very Irish list of food and drink treats.

Right, Cadbury's 'Irish' chocolates... all the way from Birmingham. Probably say most that is British rather than exclusively 'Irish'. See, you 'Irish' Americans, really is no difference whatsoever between Britons and Irishmen.

"USA biscuit tins", you are just
too cute. I think I would like
the chocolate roses, and might be willing to try the Creme De Menthe with just the vodka, by the peat fire, of course.

How about meat pies, the kind that Helena Bonham Carter's character made in "Sweeney Todd"? Tangy, with that elusive "je ne sais quoi".
