Perhaps a opening for a new pub and restaurnat chaing for within 500 yards of th elocal church - The Tilted Sutans and Surpluses? That should pack 'em in, and be canonically correct.

Phew! I'm s[h]ure there were more than a few tilted spóráns in the audience amongst the young hormonly charged jocks. And a drinkin' the devil's buttermilk. Where will all this shameless shamrocks and shennanigans lead to - another word with 's'? Ach, Rev Cannon. Don't be goin' gettin' your big guns off over a wee bit of caber tossin' and haggis eatin'? Take the caber outta yer own eye, before ya take the splinter out of theirs.

When I was playing and doing a bit of drinking in Spain years ago I was dragged out of bed on the Sunday morning with a hangover and when I was asked where we were going they said to mass I said What f.... mass I though then I would get a beer somewhere. When we go to the mass place it was a bar/restaurant they had cut off the half the bar so they could have their mass there and the other half they were serving drink so you know which part I was in. I thought I had died and went to heaven. Now there's a solution to empty churches put a bar in them and you would fill them back up. In regards to the Tilted Kilt it looks like a fun place and to the church there are more important issues in the world to deal with Robbie

Maybe the good pastor should consider encouraging his prelates to spend more time at this pub, and get their minds off the altar boys.

Reverend Cannon is angling for Mr. Cathy to open a Chic-Fil-A shop in that location. Maybe Cardinal George would step in to give the Chic-Fil-A CEO a call. They're on good terms, and the Cardinal appreciates how important it is to keep the neighborhood up.

If Kevin Kehoe wishes to post a bigoted rant against the Church he should firstly learn to spell English words .He is typical of the usual ignoramus with a chip on his shoulder !

Now that sort of pub we badly need in Ireland, would definitely lift the spirits. And the church over here would have to keep there mouth shut and there objections to themselves as there to buzzy trying to defend themselves on all the child abuse there responsible for and still trying to coverup.
