Not every Irish coffee is made equal. There's an art to mixing the perfect ingredients to achieve the perfect results.
Ingredients
1/4 cup chilled heavy cream
2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 oz (3 tablespoons) Jameson's Irish whiskey
3/4 cup freshly ground hot strong coffee
Preparation
Whip the heavy cream with sugar until it just holds stiff peaks. Pour the Irish whiskey into a mug or Irish coffee glass and add enough of the coffee to fill it three-fourths full. Spoon the whipped cream on top. Slainte! (the Irish toast).
