Roscommon Drama Festival was launched in 1960 and ran until 1980 in the Royal Cinema/Theatre. When the Cinema was sold no suitable venue was available The Festival returned in 2007 after an absence of 27 years and is now an important part of social and cultural calender of Roscommon. It will run from Fri. 1st to Sat. 9th March in Roscommon Arts Centre. The line up for the 2013 Festival has been announced. Details are on our website, www.roscommondramafestival.com and our Facebook page. We would like to express a sincere thanks to all the groups who applied for entry to the Festival. To those who were unsuccessful we wish them well on the Festival circuit. We look forward to offering everyone a memorable visit to Roscommon. Our Adjudicator will be Mr.Michael Poynor, A.D.A. from Limavady, Co. Derry.
