Bloggers and online communities are a buzz with debate over whether or not Bradley Cooper is up to the task of taking over Brandon Lee's role in a Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's "The Crow".

It seems that the "Hangover" and "Limitless" star Cooper is seriously considering taking part in the project but die-hard fans of the 1990s cult classic original movie are up in arms at the very thought. The fans of the original movie which gain cult status after the tragic death of its start Brandon Lee on set. Lee was accidentally shot on the film set and died 12 hours later.

There have been plenty of sequels "The Crow: City of Angels", "The Crow: Stairway to Heaven", "The Crow: Salvation" and "The Crow: Wicked Prayer", however these movies went straight to DVD and for the most part didn't even make it in to the public's radar but Cooper's decision could change all that and even eclipse crazy fans beloved 1994 Brandon Lee original.

Others question whether Cooper should take the role considering he is doing so well. He proved to the world that he can hold his own as the leading man in "Limitless" while a franchise movie like "The Crow" is really a place for an actor that needs a boost in the public eye.
