Irish actor dons shocking white hair for role

“A-Team” fans have gotten a first glimpse at the cast of the new film adaptation of the hit 80s TV show.

Irish actor Liam Neeson, donning silver hair, was spotted on the Vancouver, Canada set with his three sidekicks.

Neeson sports a white hairdo to get into the character of Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, a leader of a group of Iraq War veterans who are on a mission to clear their name with the U.S. military after they’ve been framed for committing a crime they didn’t do.

The three male leads joining the Irishman are “Hangover” star Bradley Cooper, who plays Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, “District 9” South African actor Sharlto Copley, who is Capt. “Howling Mad” Murdock and UFC fighter Quinton Jackson, who plays Sgt. Bosco “B.A.” Baracus.

The highly anticipated “A-Team” remake recently began filming after finalizing its cast members, which now includes actress Jessica Biel as an army general, the sole leading lady in the movie.

“The A-Team” is set for a June 2010 release, and is directed by Joe Carnahan and produced by the Ridley and Tony Scott.

Diehard “A-Team” fans have questioned if the film has been properly cast, with particular concerns over Quinton Jackson, who will have a tough act to follow playing Mr. T’s iconic role.

But with Irish acting heavyweight Neeson at the helm, the flick is sure to be a hit.
