Writer lined up for Bradley Cooper reboot of Brandon Lee’s ‘The Crow’
Alex Tse, the co- writer of ‘The Watchman’ has been lined up to pen the recreation of “The Crow” which will see Bradley Cooper play the lead role of Eric Draven, Relatively Media has announced.
The remake has been described as a “gritty reboot” of the 1994 version, which starred Brandon Lee. The film is set to be directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo of “28 Weeks Later”.
“Fresnadillo and Tse are perfectly suited to bring these beloved characters back to life, and to create a world worthy of this modern classic,” according to the statement from Relatively Media.
A cult classic, the film tells the tale of Draven, who returns from the grave to seek vengeance on his wife’s killer. It was based on the comic book series by James O’Berr.
