Before all the beard-shaving, man kissing, and blockbuster films, Will Ferrell was known for his farcical impressions of the rich and famous. Ferrell's impersonations were far ranging from the likes of Alex Trebek to Saddam Hussein. Former President George W. Bush was no exception either, particularly during Ferrell's tenure at Saturday Night Live where he poked fun at the former Commander-in-Chief on a regular basis.

Although Ferrell left the studio at 30 Rockefeller Center for the greener pastures of Hollywood a few years ago, the announcement of Osama bin Laden's death on Sunday provided the impetus that Ferrell needed to revive his Bush act.

In a video posted on the Funny or Die website, Ferrell portrayed the Texan as celebrating the "good day for America" in a Sizzler steak house in his native state, lamenting the fact that the restaurant did not have a taco bar. The hilarity ensues however, when it is revealed that the "good day for America" refers to the killing of a pesky gopher in his yard.

When Bush, or "Dubya" as Ferrell has referred to him on countless occasions, is made aware that bin Laden has been killed, he concedes that the announcement proves "two good things for America" before wandering off in search of tacos. Apart from SNL, Ferrell has previously taken his Dubya act on the road which proved to be a hit with Broadway goers and comedy fans alike.

To quote - "Try being your own people again and return to being who the Irish really are" so I ask (my silly question) again - who ARE the Irish?? BBC ireland? such an entity does not exist - our state broadcast agency is RTE The BBC is non biased, paid for by TV licence money and is overseen by an independent board of directors unlike any other news company, for example FOX.
Fatherted, Yes I know this is a American publication. It also is read in Ireland online as well...did you know that????? I know my family there thinks it is an advert for Liberals in America. Which it is. Now the most watched news there is BBC Ireland. The BBC is the most left wing bias news agency in the world. This has nothing to do with the fine people of the UK, they have merely been fed this bias for many years and have yet to hire ONE Conservative journalist, which last Fall they said they were going to do. I ask you..who are the English..their queen is German..who are the Polish..who are the Swiss??? Kind of a silly question Fatherted. If you do not know who the Irish are..you may be the wannabe. Maybe you would like a rundown since the Celts? Do your own homework. elektros...Ireland was not towards the left till recent years, but now of course they are owned by the EU and most recent bailout from the UK. I am anxious for them to pay off these debts and be a free Republic once again. Commie..interesting comment. You better brush up on your history as to which political position leans towards controlling the lives of their peoples. Perhaps a history lesson is needed. Now..shall this bias stop?
also - this "online Irish tabloid" is actually american
@jdi2269 - are you irish or a wanabe? @ColleenMcVeety, who are the irish?
America is much further right wing than any country in Europe - including Ireland. If you are American I suppose almost anyone seems like a left wing pinko commie in comparison. You are the only ones in step, LOL!
I as well, am very disappointed how far left this online Irish tabloid is. I am a New Yorker but a frequent visitor to Ireland. May I suggest that you become Irish again, as I think you all may be watching BBC Ireland way too much. I have been traveling to Ireland for 30 years.I have also watched this new additude develope in the past 10 years or more. Try being your own people again and return to being who the Irish really are. Ferrell is a loser..no longer a draw, so must try to revive an old act. He is pathetic.
How about we Irish maintain modern, progressive ideas and end the damp dusty conservatism and silly ineffective boycotts?
HOW ABOUT WE IRISH BOYCOT ALL THE ADVERTISEMENTS ON IRISH CENTRAL UNTIL THEY ABOLISH THEIR CHILDISH REMARKS ABOUT CONSERVATIVE AMERICA?
