U2’s Bono and Glen Hansard perform at Sargent Shriver funeral mass - SEE VIDEO

A funeral mass for Sargent Shriver took place on Sunday with many politicians and celebrities in attendance. Amongst them were The Frames, front man Glen Hansard and U2’s Bono who preformed during the ceremony.

Also in attendance at the mass were President Bill Clinton, Michelle Obama, Bono and Wyclef Jean.

Wyclef Jean played piano and sang “All the Ends of the Earth” as the guests including the Shriver family clapped along. Vanessa Williams sang “Soon and Very Soon” while Bono and Glen Hansard performed "Make me a channel of your peace".

Sargent Shriver founded the Peace Corps and helped found and develop the Special Olympics.

Glen Hansard was by far the better performer; had to carry Bono. He also looked slightly confused by it all! A pity. It could have been amazing.

He might have been ill. Maybe a cold and it was affecting his voice? He was pretty "off key" because I've heard him do much better in situations like this, I thought he sounded froggy like he was sick possibly.

Bono sucked!Off key,got understood and understand mixed -up.Would not want him singing at my funeral.
