U2 are the top-earning musicians in the world, according to financial website Forbes.com.
The Dublin-based band netted $130 million from their world tour and other deals, and beat out other big earners, such as Australian heavy metal group AC/DC, who earned $114 million, and Beyonce Knowles, who came third with $87 million. Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band and Britney Spears also made the top five.
Forbes.com said, "Nearly half of the artists that make up this year's list of the top-earning music acts have been around long enough that they could have appeared on the soundtrack to ‘Back to the Future.’
