Now, this’ll make for a frightening spectacle—or at least, a laughable one. Hollywood’s two favourite rehab stars have signed on for ‘Scary Movie 5,’ E! reported Friday. Unfortunately for Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan, though, this time Anna Faris won’t be on hand to save the comedic day.

As if the acting cast didn’t already look stellar enough, Ashley Tisdale of Disney fame is also on board.

‘Scary Movie 5’ is surely part of Lohan’s comeback strategy after years of drug and alcohol abuse, rehab, and court cases. Another upcoming Lohan project sure to please sees her starring with porn star James Deen in “The Canyons.”

Sheen meanwhile proves his own regenerative ability, making a career comeback and bringing his ‘Scary Movie 4’ character back from the dead in one fell swoop. The former ‘Two and a Half Men’ star and cash cow of the tabloids is back on track with his new show, ‘Anger Management,’ on FX.
