Tristan MacManus set to return to "Dancing with the Stars", partnered with Gladys Knight - VIDEO
America's favorite Irish dancer making a comeback
Tristan MacManus, Ireland’s favorite professional dancer, is returning for his second season on ABC’s hit show ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ This season, the Irishman is paired up with famous soul songstress Gladys Knight.
Despite many of the partners being leaked prior to the official announcement on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ on Tuesday February 28th, Tristan MacManus’ partner Gladys Knight was a well-kept surprise.
Knight (67), the oldest member of the cast this season, expressed that she had some nerves in a post-announcement interview with ABC’s Cameron Mathison. But if Tristan’s run for semi-finals with unlikely partner Nancy Grace last season is any indication, Knight is in very good hands.
All of the new contestants were to begin practice the same day as the official announcements were made on ABC. Knight mentioned how she was eager to get started in hopes of relaxing her nerves.
ABC’s upcoming fourteenth season of ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ which will premiere on March 19th, will be Dublin native Tristan MacManus’ second season on the show as a professional dancer. Be sure to tune in and cheer on MacManus and Knight!
