She’s one of the biggest celebrities in America, known more for her brushes with the law than any acting ability. And she’s very Irish.
Lindsay Lohan was born in 1986 in New York City and moved to Long Island soon after she was born.
Her mother Dina’ Sullivan came from a well known Irish American family that traced its roots back to County Cork.
They were politically conservative. Lindsay’s grandfather John L. Sullivan, founded the Long Island Pro-Life Party.
Dina had her own stage ambitions and worked as a singer and dancer.
She met and married Michael Lohan – another Irish Catholic with Cork roots and a flair for the dramatic. Michael described his father, Richard Lohan, as an alcoholic.
Lindsay was pushed into the limelight early-- at age 3 she was in ads for Calvin Klein Kids and Abercrombie kids.
By age 10 she was in movies and hit the big time at 12 starring in Disney's ‘The Parent Trap’ in 1998. It has been all downhill from there for the Irish American.

So are we to be proud that a spoiled, convicted felon and suspected thief has Irish roots? I think this is one that should have been kept in the closet. I think notorious killer John Dellinger had some Irish in him too!
