The only Irish member of hit manufactured boy band, Niall Horan has been described as Ireland’s Justin Bieber.

Here’s some interesting trivia on the Westmeath teenager.

1.    He has had a dream since he was six-years-old that he would make it to number one in America.

2.    He was born on September 13, 1993 in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

3.    He was a student at Coláiste Mhuire in Mullingar.

4.    His 81-year-old Granny, Margaret Nolan, flew into London especially to watch him in the final of the X Factor.

5.    He has one older brother Greg, aged 23.

6.    He auditioned as a solo artist in Dublin, on 15th of April 2010 for the X Factor. Simon Cowell  later brought Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall together to form ‘One Direction’.

7.    When One Direction signed their first records deal, one of the first things he bought was a car for his Mam, Maura.

8.    He has blue eyes.

9.    He is single.

10.  He has a celebrity crush on Khloe Kardashian. He asked the famous Kardashian and her husband LaMar to come to their concert via Twitter.
