Beaut.ie, a beauty blog popular in Ireland, is hosting its third annual Beaut.ie’s Fifty Fine Things competition. But the fifty fine things aren’t beauty products, they’re men.
The reader-voted contest “celebrates Irish men for their achievements, wit, sporting prowess, international standing and only in some cases, their muscles.”
Votes were cast in late February and early March using online polling software.
Rugby players were a popular choice with the ladies. Brian O’Driscoll, Tommy Bowe, Ronan O’Gara, Gordon D’Arcy and Jonathan Sexton all made it onto the list.
Broadcasters Ryan Tubridy, Ray Darcy and Ray Foley, brainy comedian Dara O’Briain, and Hollywood stars like Liam Neeson, Gabriel Byrne, Colin Farrell, Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson (True Grit), also feature on the Fifty Fine Things list.
Only one politician made it though: Senator James Carroll, a Fianna Fail candidate who represents Louth.

Gabriel Byrne, Cillian Murphy, Michael Fassbender, and Martin Mcdonagh... I know nothing about sports. Ryan Tubridy though.... Ah now. I can think of 50 from the small town in NW Ireland where I grew up that are more appealing than him!

Right on. These are all some very sexy men. There are of course a ton of others and picking the best of the best is never an easy job. For some reason I was thinking Jude Law was an Irishman as well. Apparently not as I believe his name would be here if he was.

Yes some are all right,, but Liam Neeson should give up the wig or hair piece,, sometimes it looks like it wants to fly away,, I always wonder why some Men think they have real hair, when it looks like a dead rat siting on their head,,
