The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran from Dublin sought by Bollywood
India move execs want the rest of the band on set – but only in the background
Dubliner Siva Kaneswaran, one of the gorgeous lads from The Wanted, has been approached by representatives from the Bollywood film industry.
A top talent agent for the Asian film industry is trying to convince Kaneswaran to travel to India to take the starring role in an upcoming movie. According to the Sun, Kaneswaran said the rest of the boys from The Wanted would also be required on set but only in the background shots.
He said, “It was so funny. He approached me and gave me this long speech about making me a star over there and that they wanted me to be the lead in the film.
“He said he wanted the other lads too, but only as pretend group members in the background in a few scenes.”
Kaneswaran said he’d told his bandmates about the offer and “they saw the funny side.”
Twenty-three-year-old Kaneswaran grew up in Blanchardstown, Dublin. His career as a star began when he had his first modelling gig at the age of 16.
