Presidents Obama's great great great grandfather was born in Ireland. So I guess that means he has something "remotely resembling Irish". In any case one doesn't need to be Irish to appreciate Irish music.
ciarrai, where did all THAT (in your post) come from? All that has as much to do with this article as the Obamas have to do with anything even remotely resembling Irish.
Katie Couric: Gov. Palin, do you like Celtic Woman? Sarah Palin: Ya know, I'm so busy, I don't have time for much sports on tv anymore? I used to be a good shot. Now I'm too busy exposing myself as a woman who knows nothing. Katie Couric: I already knew that. Isn't Bill O'Reilly a horsesass?
yes indeed, - i am also a great fan of Celtic Woman. they are a super act luv,em
At least some of that family has good taste.

politicians always try to be on right side. i love apple pie.
Who doesn't like Celtic Women?? Truly an amazing group of beautiful individual voices. I have all their cds. When they sing, it seems like the angels are here.
I don't know... you really can't believe anything he says, you know. Celtic Woman is extremely easy on the ears and the eyes; and I can see why the Obamas were so taken by them; but, if a return performance is in the cards, better make it within the next three years.
