The Irish answer to Susan Boyle brings judge to tears
'X Factor' judge, Cheryl Cole, was brought to tears by Ireland's answer to Susan Boyle at the shows Dublin auditions.
Dublin local, Mary Byrne, performed Shirley Bassey's "I Who Have Nothing" impressing judges Cole, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and guest judge Katy Perry. Her performance will air and British television this week.
Byrne, a supermarket worker brought Cole to tears. "That was my favorite audition in Dublin," Cold announced.
Simon Cowell known for his dry wit and crushing comments said "I think, no, I know, you have an amazing voice. I don't know why you suffer from no confidence."
After her performance Cowell commented to the other judges "I absolutely love her, she is genuinely a lovely woman with great talent and I hope the audience loves her too. She deserves this break."
