'Ted' star Mark Wahlberg signs on for 'The Amory Wars’
Graphic novel series set for the big screen
Irish American star Mark Wahlberg has signed on for a film adaptation of graphic novel series 'The Amory Wars'.
The “Ted” star will work alongside his producing partner Stephen Levinson for the adaption of the sci-fi series, reports Variety. The announcement was made at Comic-Con over the weekend.
In the past the pair have collaborated as executive producers on TV series Entourage and Boardwalk Empire and the film Contraband.’
The sci-fi comic book series are written by Coheed and Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez and published by Evil Ink Comics. Sanchez originally created ‘The Amory Wars’ to help inspire the bands albums.
As well as his extensive acting career, Boston born Wahlberg has been the executive producer on a number of large scale YV series including 'How to make it in America' and “In Treatment”.
