Susan Boyle’s next trip: Australia

Susan has recently been described as tired and lonely.
Susan has recently been described as tired and lonely.

Only days after reports whirled that Susan Boyle is lonely, exhausted and in need of “24-hour care,” news has emerged of her next potential trip: Australia.

It seems that Susan is incredibly popular Down Under, where her album "I Dreamed A Dream" has spent 14 weeks in the music charts' top three. She may make an appearance at the Australian television awards, known as the Logies, according to ANI news, and is the organizers’ top choice for the event.

Earlier this week her brother Gerry also spoke to Australia’s Herald Sun newspaper about a possible visit.

“It's up to her management but I do hear plans are afoot. She's mentioned it once or twice.”

"She's been to Japan, she's been to Chicago, she's been on the Oprah Winfrey show, she's recently back from Spain and she was over in the Netherlands.

"She is very much aware that Australia and New Zealand are very warm to her.

"She's taken aback by that, so her management will be looking very closely at when Australia and New Zealand can be done.''

Let’s hope Susan gets a bit of a break before she goes. Voting has already begun for the Logie Awards, which take place in May.

Susan's brothers need to stop seeking publicity for themselves by talking to the media, be respectful, and put a lid on it! If they were so concerned and caring, why did Susan have to take 6 buses to get to Glasgo for her audition, and be sent home by BGT when she missed the last one after the audition? Concern by these brothers seemed to happen when $$$$ and fame started happening. Susan has a good management team and Susan will continue to soar!!
Don't worry about Susan Boyle as long as they are writing about her she is getting free publicity. The bro's are just afraid she is going to kill the goose that lays the golden egg. They are annoyed that they can't control her and well she is a little unpredictable.Personally I like it she is unlike any other celebrity out there.... unique. I hope she never conforms. There's still plenty of mileage left in Susan Boyle. As long as she still thinks she is living her dream. It's really up to her managers and Simon Cowell to keep the good times rolling and as long as she is a draw card and making money he will.
Why don't you people MYOB and let Susan deal with her family the way she wants. Frankly it none of your business what goes on between family members. Susan is a big girl (no pun) and not a child so stop treating her like she is one.
Quite dislike the bros. Why can't they just shup up; they are quite annoying.
camisu11 You said it all, and just right!! Susan is lovely and she is a LADY, She is loved and cherished now and always!
Susan Boyle is doing just great!! I think her brothers should be nicer to her, they should always be there for her and not tell things to the press just to see their own name in the press.
If Susan would lose about 3 stones - she would look and feel terrific. I imagine carrying all that extra weight around tires her out and maybe that is what her brothers are noticing.
I look forward to the day when Susan's schedule and appearances are the only thing I read. The tabloids and the press get a hay day out of exploiting her, kind of like the bullies in the old schoolyard. Give the woman credit, she has surpassed all credentials. Her private life is her own business and the fact that her brothers are doing this openly leads me to believe they have told her she couldn't do anything for most of her life. Maybe Susan is different, thank heavenly sources that she is. I love her full fledged smile. That smile lingers with me when I am sad or sick. Susan sings, smiles, loves naturally and let her be!!! Time for a big clap and a long overdue press notice of capability and tried and true performance. Her fans are sick and tired of the old news and fabricated or exploitive attention getting garbage. She is a wonderful singer, the best we have ever had for a long long time.
Susan is scheduled to appear in Tokyo on April 1st to perform with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. I believe that is her next "big trip", but we have heard that she will be going to Australia, New Zealand, and The Netherlands sometime this year. Her popularity is universal and she is in great demand everywhere.
well how can we believe the newspapers, as I am from the Netherlands I can ashure you Susan has not been here, yet it say,s Susan has been to the Netherlands, I WISH, so about the brothers I will take with a grain of salt aswell.
I am sorry for Susan to have brothers like them. That explains why she spent Christmas with other siblings.
Well said Reynie, I absolutely agree with you. You have said what I had been wanting to say for a long time. Gerry has a problem with his sister's fame and wealth.
Why is Gerry Boyle talking to the news media at all? He has nothing whatsoever to do with any aspect of Susan's career. And what purpose is served by Gerry's never-ending whiny stories about his fears for Susan's ability to cope, while Susan says she has never been happier in her life. What does Gerry want the public to do about his fears and anxieties? He needs to get back to focusing on his own career because, really, he is coming across as someone not to be trusted with confidences -- not a good quality in a businessman or a brother.
Note to japanese people that don't like their Susan Boyle CD's Like good ole Belfast James. Their are a few of us that would paypal you the shipping to get the version with the Wings That Fly.
JUST BE HAPPY WHERE YOU ARE SUSAN. TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY BUT DON'T FORGET TO GO TO CHURCH. YOU CAN FIND CHURCH ANYWHERE YOU WILL GO.
