Susan Boyle’s Irish moneyman denies bad financial advice

Heartache: Susan Boyle opens up about her depression and buylling
Susan Boyle

Irish show biz accountant, Ossie Kilkenny, has rejected all claims in the press that his advice is ‘harmful’ to Susan Boyle’s growing
fortune.

He says that he only has her best interests at heart. The financial guru, known as “U2’s accountant”, said that he will take action
against the claims that he is giving bad advice to troubled star Susan Boyle.

He also said that he is “100 percent working with Susan Boyle,” and intends on sticking with her and helping her steer her career.

And what a career it is turning out to be. Boyle has been tipped by industry insiders to earn over $29.5 million. She’s also due to receive another large cheque, of $7.4 million, due to the royalties from her current album.

Her current album, “I Dreamed a Dream”, has sold over 8.5 million copies worldwide while her world famous performance has broken records on YouTube with over 32 million viewers.

A source close to Kilkenny said “He came out of retirement to help Susan because he saw her as someone who triumphed over adversity and he made it his mission to help her become the greatest success she could.

"He is not paying any attention to the nonsense in the papers, except to take the appropriate action, and remains focused on Susan's
singing.”

I hope it is not true; remember, Subo has IRISH blood in her veins... Go, Susan; I am waiting for your next album! A loyal Fan
Well that is good news,to hear that Kilkenny was personally moved by Susan Boyle's story enough to come out of retirement to handle her affairs. Also willing to take on anyone who questions his integrity.Sounds pretty good to me. Shall be interested in the results.Wish all the very best to Susan Boyle and her professional singing career.
I think the hiring of Kilkenny was a great move. His track record speaks for itself.
"Troubled Star" I don't think so !
How about describing Susan as "The Scottish Nightingale"? She is not "troubled"! She has stated many times that she is happier than she's ever been. My concern here is only for Susan - that she may be caught in the middle of any controversy that might exist. Her happiness and well-being are all that really matter, and she should be allowed to remain trouble free in order to concentrate on her blooming career. Susan has a lot ahead of her - the next album, her book, her new residence. Everyone needs to consider Susan and what is best for her.
And, BTW, if by "troubled" you mean performing all over the UK to standing ovations, performing brilliantly in the US, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Japan, just to mention a few, selling more albums than any other debut female artist in history, and doing it all with humor, grace, and courage, then here's to being "troubled", may we all be so blessed by this kind of "trouble".
I hope everything works out for Susan. This is her time, she had to wait long enough for it. Her family should step back and let her enjoy her accomplishments. Everyone seems to have a lot of respect for Mr. Kilkenny and Susan has a lot of confidence in him and the rest of her management. I'm glad she has spoken up in their behalf. As for the adjective to replace "troubled", how about "talented"?
GB needs to tend to his own career, whatever that may be, and leave his mega-star sister's career alone except to enjoy her success which he seems unable to do. Good on Kilkenny that he is not going to take potentially libelous statements lying down no matter where they come from.
Stop with all the negative adjectives for Susan Boyle! By this time adjectives should read "(remarkably) talented," "professional," "popular." AND, if Susan is as written about, independent and self-protective of herself , I am quite sure she's capable of commanding change. This lady is not dumb.
All the static has come from one guy: Gerry Boyle who doesn't seem to use the sense he was born with. He has shown such lack of discretion and tact that I really don't believe much that he says. Did I read here that Susan B spent Christmas with her sisters and not Gerry? I think so. He's acting like he wants money to shut up. Sad.
How long will it take to drop that adjective "troubled" when referring to Susan Boyle? That's getting a little stale. Do some editing. And find a new, relevant, and appropriate adjective. There is an abundance in any dictionary.
