Susan Boyle and Lady Gaga will go head-to-head at this year’s People’s Choice Awards.

The Scottish singing sensation and the America pop diva are both nominated for Favorite Breakthrough Music Artist at the major awards show.

This year, for the first time, fans had the opportunity to vote in the nominees. It’s no surprise that Susan made the cut for breakthrough artists, being that she has the top pre-sales for her upcoming album “I Dreamed A Dream” on Amazon, and has taken the U.S. by storm with stunning performances on “America’s Got Talent” and “Dancing with the Stars.”

Susan and Gaga will face off against these other favorite newcomers on the scene: “American Idol” alum Adam Lambert, Disney star Demi Lovato and “American Idol” winner Kris Allen.

There's only one lady here and it's not the picture of the one on the left. Susan is a true lady and I think part of her appeal is her purity and old fashioned God directed morals. She does not have to use cheap sex and indecent costumes to get attention or sell songs. All she does is use her real God given singing talent that is beautiful to listen to.

Lady Gaga??? She looked like a GAGA alright but not a Lady!!! lolol!!! Susan is the ONE TRUE LADY!!!! Charm, Witty, Pure, Real, Witty and Great Sense of Humour our LADY SUSAN BOYLE!!!

This is a fitting tribute to a woman who has is truly the breakout artist of the last few decades. She has broken down perceived ideas of image and age and won the hearts of millions with her honesty and raw talent.

Susan is the breakout artist of the century not to speak of this year. Yes, a lot of youngsters are voting for their interchangeable idols, but there's only one Susan Boyle as far as talent, courage and emotional appeal is concerned. Susan will receive lots of awards in the years to come, but none will mean more to her than one from the American people, who she loves for "their openess and warmth and honesty". So let's vote and make that happen.

If it's about singing, or fists, or a footrace, I'd bet on Boyle, but it's a lot of teenyboppers voting, so anything can happen.
