Sinead O’Connor tells journalist not to mess with ‘me or my husband’
Singer furious after newspaper questions over honeymoon drugs run
Sinead O’Connor is now at war with an Irish journalist over her search for drugs on the night of her wedding and the apparent contradiction with her husband’s work as a drugs counselor.
Sunday Independent show business correspondent Niamh Horan was effectively threatened by the singer for asking questions of her wedding night behavior in Las Vegas.
O’Connor has admitted being handed a "load of crack" after she dragged new hubby Barry Herridge to a seedy part of the Casino City in an effort to score marijuana.
The pair broke up after just 16 days of marriage but are now re-united and living at the singer’s home in Bray.

They have yet to comment on Herridge’s reactions to the drug search on his wedding night, described by O’Connor as a "wild ride."
And Horan was left in no doubt as to their reluctance to discuss Herridge’s view on his wife’s drugs run.
“Do not f**k with me or my husband - those were singer Sinead O’Connor’s words of warning to me last week,” wrote Horan in the latest edition of the Sunday Independent.
“It came after I raised questions over the conflict of interest between her husband’s job - counselling drug-addicted teenagers - and pictures of him being splashed all over the tabloids last week after being re-united with the woman who took him on her wild search for marijuana on their wedding night.
“When newly-wed Barry Herridge was approached by the Sunday Independent to ask if he would talk about the evident clash between his professional life and the activities of his bride, the singer wasted little time issuing a series of threats and abusive warnings in his defence.
“In a sequence of expletive-ridden phone calls and voicemails to the Sunday Independent, the Nothing Compares to You singer warned: ‘You better make sure you don’t bump into me ... I mean it. Do not fuck with me or my husband’.”
Admitting that she also contacted Herridge’s employers at the SASSY agency - a service dealing with vulnerable young drug-users – Horan says she did speak to Sinead’s new husband.
She wrote: “Mr Herridge took the call and refused to answer questions about his honeymoon night where he was taken along by O’Connor in her search for drugs in a seedy part of Las Vegas.
