Sharon Corr, would became famous as part of the County Louth four-piece family band "The Corrs" has release her first solo album entitled "Dream of You."
The band had taken a five year break from the music industry but now 40-year-old, Sharon, who is famous for her violin playing, returns as the lead vocalist on the album which was released on September 13. The first single from the album is a cover of the Korgis' 1980 hit "Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime".
Corr wrote much of the record herself. In a recent interview with Reuters she said "It's a personal singer-songwriter album, with lots of violin on it. The Corrs were put on hold because I wanted to start a family, and the album is a reflection of my life since then. When you have children you become more aware of the threat the world can hold."
