Sarah Palin’s husband strikes back - denies claims of cocaine use and affairs

A new book claims that Sarah Palin, 47, once enjoyed a steamy one-night-stand with an NBA star. Palin, who was 24 at the time, is portrayed as a drug taking wild child, and a far cry from the conservative vice presidential image she would craft two decades later.

According to biographer Joe McGinniss, 68, who's salacious new book 'The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin' is already making international headlines, Palin once slept with the six foot eight inch African American basketball player Glen Rice while she was working for her local new station KTUU-TV.

But McGinnis produces even more dirt, Palin's one night stand reportedly happened whilst she was dating Todd Palin and just nine months before she would elope, pregnant, with him.

McGinnis' book also claims Palin had a six month affair with one of her husband's colleagues while they were married, a claim Todd Palin has since denied.

Most shockingly of all, McGinnis' claims Palin snorted cocaine off a 55 gallon oil drum and had previously smoked marijuana with one of her college professors.

The revelations come at a particularly sensitive time for Palin, who's long flirtation with joining the 2012 presidential race is nearing crunch time.

To research the new expose McGinniss actually moved in next door to the Palin's in Alaska, leading Todd Palin to describe him to the press this week as 'stalker' with a 'creepy obsession' about his wife.

In a report in The Daily Mail this week McGinness dismissed Todd Palin's pointed comments with some invective of his own, calling Sarah Palin an 'utter fraud' and a 'tenth-grade mean girl.'

'Those were kind words compared to a lot of what you would hear in Wasilla today,' McGinniss told ABC News this week. 'The thing that I found that really surprised me was that the people who know her best like her least.'

The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, which will be published on September 20, alleges that the half-term governor of Alaska is far from the conservative family woman she claims to be.

McGinnis reportedly claims in his new book that after college Palin developed a 'fetish' for black men. Rice is said to have confirmed the one-night-strand in McGinniss's book.

Be 100% assured: Sarah and Todd did snort coke together and with other people. It did happen. Multiple times. Not that it is such a big deal except for the fact both intend to lie about it to the bitter end. Lame.
Just another way the liberals run their smear campaigns. They should talk -- Look at Senator Wiener and others like him !!!
snorting cocaine off an oil drum, classy. snorting cocaine off Glen Rice's johnson, priceless!
You can't get much lower than Palin Especially when she is with an African American
Whether one likes or dislikes her it sure makes one wonder why so many continue to attack her every way they can. She must really frighten them for them to be dwelling so very much on her. As far as the latest book writer, Levy Johnson, he's a low life lost cause. Has anyone asked him when he paid a dime for support of his son or the last time he saw his son; when and if he's working; what his proof is of what he's saying; why is he devoting so much of his life to trashing/attacking the Palins; what are his motives? I'm sure they haven't - they would rather try to trash Palin and use this idiot as a tool just to try to get her. Why haven't they taken the time to dig into his past and his wall of lies? One wonders if he is really that irresponsible and just keeps looking for his 15 minutes of fame - it's pathetic. He is the poster child of a low life.
Snorting cocaine off an oil drum? Classy.
meg311 liberals are scared of Palin what world do the unchristian right live in? she's a joke us liberals are hoarse informing you teahadists of her insignificance.
I'm waiting for the Joe McGinniss book about Obama. We know so little about the economic genius.
Nobody is perefect but this is pure trash. The liberal left are so scared of Sarah Palin that they will go to any lengths to destroy her and her family. I will NOT buy or read this trashy book.
I don't blame him go away Sarah and give us all a break
Where there's smoke there's fire.
Poor Tom is he annoyed at his wife's infidelity or because the man was black.Hannity will go on his usual tirade of abuse to protect his poster gal.As has been already stated let them sue if it is all lies.
The snowbilly can dish it out but she sure can't take. The paydaylins have plenty of ca$h to take this to court if any of the information is untrue. Let's wait and see if they do it. Actions speak much louder than words.
A book like this about someone else might not sell. Its interest comes from the disparity between the merchandised Palin and the real Palin. If it is false, then Palin does have the recourse of suing. If it is true, then Palin is human with human mistakes in her past and the only ones who will be upset by it will be those who foolishly believed her to be god-like. Murdock has made his fortune because there is a market out there for tabloid journalism both in supermarkets and on TV (Fox.) This redistribution of wealth from our pockets to Joe McGinniss is what capitalism is all about - supply and demand. Joe McGinniss saw an unfilled niche in demand and is supplying something to fill that niche. If he guessed wrong, the book will not sell and he and his publisher will take the loss just as Palin's publisher has with her books. The uncapitalistic story is the authors who are being asked to sign away the electronic rights (kindle/nook) for their intellectual property by publishers without the same recompense as with print rights.
I think many of us did stupid things in our youth. Whether true or not, it DOES make Sarah Palin more human, lol. I am pretty conservative myself but in my youth, I was umm, something else! @jdi2269, I totally agree!
