Sarah Palin's famous updo is filled with secrets, according to a new HBO film debuting in March.  'Game Change' claims to tell the truth about the behind the scenes of Palin's losing 2008 campaign, but her aides have called it 'sick' and untrue.

The unnamed aides have also admitted they have yet to see the movie - it's not set to debut until March 10 - adding that their requests for a screening have been denied.

The new film is based on the bestselling chronicle of the 2008 presidential race, and the recently released trailer does at times cast Palin in an unfavorable light.

Julianne Moore plays Palin as a political novice thrust onto the national stage with predictable consequences: she squabbles with her political advisers, she misses her baby who was born in April 2008 and we see campaign strategist Steve Schmidt, played by Woody Harrelson, describing her as being on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

However, her aides claim that none of this was so. Jason Recher, who handled vice presidential operations for the McCain-Palin campaign, told the Huffington Post that Palin was 'one of the most engaged public servants I'd ever observed.'

Meg Stapleton, a former spokeswoman, added that  she not been contacted by anyone associated with either the book or movie.

'They don't want to hear anything good,' Stapleton said. 'We all know Palin sells and the dramatization of Palin sells even more. This is sick. They mock Governor Palin as weak and unable to cope and press forward. And the movie and the trailer say that.'

Director Jay Roach told the press he wrote to Palin requesting an interview but got an email informing him she declined.

The film is also based on 25 interviews conducted with members of the campaign. Secondary sources include Sarah Palin's own book Going Rogue and newspaper and magazine articles from the period.

Any chance of a no-holds barred showdown between Sarah and Julianne. Now that would be a sight to behold. Nothing like two classy broads having a good ol' fashioned, knock-down drag-out catfight. Highly entertaining, guaranteed to get the juices of your loins a-pumpin'. Would make the boxing fraternity look like a bunch o' woosey.
Thank you, seanomelb! While many folk are quick to try to associate President Obama with Middle Eastern dictators (Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein), none of them are as quick to talk about the 20-year relationship between the Bush family and the Bin Laden family and investments in Arbusto Energy, the Texas oil company started by George W. Bush. Nor is there ever any mention of the Bin Ladens being secreted out of the U.S. after 9/11, even after air routes were shut down. Many outlandish accusations against President Obama are red herrings, meant to disparage his birth, education and race. This anti-Obama prejudicial rhetoric has got tedious - and dangerous. Does enyone remember Joe McCarthy? "Game Change" will get its due from the critics!
There's a great photo of GW walking on the whitehouse lawns hand in hand with the Saudi king some months after 9/11 when Saudi nationals brought down the towers.Maybe Bush jr. and snr. will write a book on their business dealings with the Bin Laden family.Or why the only civilian plane in the skies was spiriting members of the Saudi royals and the Bin Ladens to safety in the middle east.No one has blown up any towers on Obamas watch he just spends his time cleaning up the mess made by the GOP and I forgot killing Bin Laden.
I can't wait for the next (or even first) "documentary" movie about President Obama's life history. I assume this would be accentuated by first person interviews with all of those people who went to school with him at Occidental, Columbia and Harvard Law School and fondly recall all of his documented accomplishments at each of those respected institutions. They could also include heartwarming interviews with William Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn, his "neighbors and family friends" who were "alleged" Weather Underground" terrorists who "allegedly blew up US Government property. This could give all of us more background on how President Obama learned that there were "57 states," an "Austrian language," and how to bow to Saudi royalty. Coming to a theatre near you...
In true teaparty fashion we are against it before we see it.Maybe they are afraid of the truth about the 1/2 governor.
Once again Sarah Palin is riding on the coat tails of others to feed her unending need for attention. It's a shame she has never done anything constructive with her access to the political and public powers who could actually make a difference in this world.Oh, well I suppose that any attention is better than no attention at all.
Sarah Palin is stupid.
If you want to see Julianne Moore totally naked having sex, just rent Boogie Nights! Yeah, she's classy.
Thank God she's back where she belongs: looking at Russia from her house. Isn't comforting to know she's keeping an eye on those pesky Russkies?
Haven't seen the trailer.. but comparing Julianne Moore with Sarah Palin (from photo above) I'd say they're off to a bad start. Moore compares to Palin like Minnie Pearl to Elizabeth Taylor. Also, the names involved in production of "Game Change" tell me they'll create a change all right.. to the facts!
Hang in there Sarah. The old saying, "It's better to remain silent and be judged a fool.. than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!" may apply to the writers and producers of the new flick, "Game Change". Not having seen even the trailer, I can't really offer an opinion. I just look at the names involved in production of this possibly sick movie and let the names say it all. Don Miller
