All is not going well in the Sex and The City shoot out in Glen Cove on Long Island we hear.

Reports from the set claim that Sarah Jessica has been nicknamed "Carrie Sadshaw" and that the rift between her and Kim Cattrall has descended into all-out war.

Insiders claim that the two are not talking to each other and that their co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis now dread coming into work.

A source told Star Magazine: "While the cast is all smiles on the outside, the level of dislike is unbelievable. No one is having a good time on this shoot. "

"Kim has been taking every chance to snipe. You could cut the tension with a knife. Their fighting has also made Cynthia and Kristin miserable, too," the source added.

Parker is said to be under enormous stress as she juggles filming with he three children; six-year-old son James and baby twin daughters Marion and Tabitha.

The source said: "The crew have taken to calling her 'Carrie Sadshaw'. When she doesn't have to be 'on' in her scenes, she looks so sad."

The on-set tension clearly got the better of a toddler today who howled the whole way through his shoot with the glamorous foursome.

The toddler, perched on Kristin Davis' knee, was inconsolable as the actresses filmed their scene.

The toddler howled in between calls for "action" but the crew said the take would work out fine.

They probably can only hope the feud between the two leading ladies can be so easily dealt with.
