Irish actress Saoirse Ronan will play a teenage assassin in "Hanna," a new movie from "Atonement" director Joe Wright.
Saoirse, 15, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in "Atonement," will reunite with director Wright for the movie.
In "Hanna," Saoirse plays a 14-year-old Eastern European girl who has been raised to be a killing machine.
However, she makes friends with a French girl and discovers a whole different world through the girl's family.
Hanna tries to escape from her deadly past but is dragged back and must then fight for her freedom.
The role will mark a change of pace for Saoirse who is currently being seen as murder victim Susie Salmon (like the fish) in Peter Jackson's "The Lovely Bones."
