Roma Downey and Mark Burnett's 10 hour miniseries "The Bible" set to air on the History Channel - VIDEO

eileenkny - I don't know how realistically this miniseries will treat the Word but as I remember, the Bible has some pretty racy stuff and lots of violence and blood shed mixed in to hold the audiance's attention while it delivers its messages. I think it might be the ORIGIN of sensationalism. I wonder if Charlton Heston and Cecille B. DeMille, somewhere above, will give their approvals of this new adaptation as it is a lot of material to cover in just 10 hours including those pesky commercials.

I've missed seeing Ms. Downey on TV. Kudos to them for doing a miniseries that won't be sensationalized.
