Robert Pattinson’s 'new' flick 'The Haunted Airman' set for DVD release

A supernatural thriller that Robert Pattinson made five years ago is being released on DVD in the U.S. on October 13.

One of the first movies that Robert Pattinson made, "The Haunted Airman," will be released on DVD in the United States next week.

Pattinson, whose role as Edward Cullen in the “Twilight” series has made him a global star, plays a Royal Air Force pilot confined to a wheelchair who is wracked by psychological trauma and visions.

Wounded in WWII and sent to recover in Wales, the movie follows Pattinson’s character as he slowly loses his sanity.

Julian Sands plays his psychiatrist and Rachael Stirling stars as his aunt, and though the movie was made five years ago, RPAtz fans will probably gobble up the DVD of the even freshwer- faced Pattinson in one of his earliest roles.

Well, at least that’s what the plan is, with the release of the ghostly story perfectly timed for the Halloween market, and the ethereal other worldly image that most fans are familiar with in Pattinson's “Twilight” character underlined again here.

The movie is based the 1948 bestselling novel by Dennis Wheatley, 'The Haunting of Toby Jugg,' and the supernatural thriller is available to American audiences from October 13 on DVD via E1 Entertainment.
