Robert Pattinson won't be meeting Prince William and Kate Middleton at the dinner hosted by BAFTA (the British Academy of Film and Television Arts) on July 9 at Los Angeles' historic Belasco Theatre.
The 'Twilight' star is not on the list of 42 'Brits to Watch' being honored, reports Hollywood Life.
Apparently, the list focuses more on emerging young talent. Given Pattinson's level of stardom, he was probably too big a celebrity to qualify.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Ottawa on Thursday and will visit five more cities in Canada before heading to California on their North American tour. Toronto, where Pattinson is currently filming 'Cosmopolis,' is not on Will and Kate's itinerary.
