Jared Harris, the son of the late great Richard Harris, will play the role of Moriarty in Guy Richie's "Sherlock Holmes 2".

Although there were some rumors that the role would be nabbed by Colin Farrell or Daniel Day Lewis Latino Review scooped the exclusive news that Harris got the gig.

Stephen Fry has also been cast as Holmes' brother, Mycroft and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" star Noomi Rapace will play the love interest.

Harris has made a real impact in his recent role in the hugely popular TV show "Mad Men".
