This is showing great courage in speaking out...Roselyn Carter has spoken out about her depression. This disease is more prevalent than anybody realises.Sadly the stigma of the disease is out there. It's so smart to treat this disease openly..just ignore the stupid people who label the disease. If you are educated about your health..you are steps ahead of most in Ireland.Your brain controls everything....any imbalance will result in sickness,as it does in all illnesses. Any health professional will be happy to restate this fact. I am delighted that Majella O Donnell has accepted that.. her disease is effectively managed by medication. We should all thank our lucky stars that we live in a time as this...Knowledge is power!! !Well done Majella..one smart lady ,who has a supportive husband...that is how it should be..Kudos to Daniel too..
have daniel return his obe and all will be well with his lady. must be an embarresment to even think of even accepting the enemy's honor, bestowed by another of the holocauster Saxon tribe chaps. She'll be in Dublin in May with Daniel in place to bring her much joy - I'd bet.
Alcohol or rosary beads never helped with my drepression. A kind and thoughtful therapist, the right psychotropic drugs and some very personal and realistic goals has helped. Announcing it all to the public can backfire. Less time on stage, doing lectures or writing books and more time with more humble things works best for me.
