“Political Animals” actor Ciaran Hinds cast for upcoming season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones”
Northern Irish actor currently starring alongside Sigourney Weaver to star in massive cult hit series

Northern Irish actor Ciaran Hinds has been added to the roster for the upcoming shoot of ‘Game of Thrones’ which airs on HBO.
RTE reports that Hinds will play the character of Mance Rayder, the King Beyond the Wall, in season three of the fantasty-drama series. The character of Rayder has been mentioned in the show’s first two seasons, but has yet to appear on screen.
Hinds previously starred in HBO's ‘Rome’ as Julius Caesar, and was recently seen in the mini-series ‘Political Animals.’
The third season of ‘Game of Thrones’ is set to air on March 31, 2013.
