Patrick Dempsey, aka Dr Derek Shepherd from “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Funny People” and “Troy” star Eric Bana plan to race in the Qantas Australian F1 Grand Prix celebrity race.
 
Dempsey has been approached by the organizers to take part in the Formula 1 celebrity.  According to the Herald Sun Bana has also shown interest in competing in the Porsche Carrera.
 
Also the rock band The Living End are set to perform at the Albert Park event which will take place in March. Singer Chris Cheney said “We can't wait to be part of the festival action in front of our home crowd. We'll be there with the fans cheering on Aussie [racing driver] Mark Webber."
