Neil Jordan to create adaptation of Paul Murray’s Man Booker novel ‘Skippy Dies’

Neil Jordan is set to write & direct the screenplay for Paul Murray’s Man Booker listed novel "Skippy Dies".
The book follows the tale of roommates Skippy and Ruprecht in an all boy’s Catholic boarding school in Dublin. Murray’s novel was named on the Man Booker Prize list last week.
Originally from Co. Sligo Jordan is best known for his 1992 film The Crying Game. Jordan will be working alongside producers Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen for the project.
