Mickey Rourke out - Woody Harrelson in on ‘Seven Psychopaths’ with Colin Farrell
Veteran actor calls Irish director Martin McDonagh a “jerkoff”
Mickey Rourke, one of Hollywood’s favorite comeback heroes, has announced that he is no longer attached to Martin McDonagh’s “Seven Psychopaths”. The “Iron Man 2” and “Immortals” star revealed that he had some professional disagreements with the Irish director / writer.
In fact he told Moviefone “The director was a jerkoff. He wanted a whole lot for nothing. He can go play with himself."

Deadline has reported that Woody Harrelson will step in to replace Rourke along with Tom Waits and Olga Kurylenki (“Quatum of Solace”)
The moive tells the story of a screenwriter (Colin Farrell) who is struggling with a script called “Seven Psychopaths”. He gets caught up in dog-napping cappers with his friends Same Rockwell and Christopher Walken.
The dog, a beloved Shih Tzu, is none other than, psycho gangster, Woody Harrelson’s dog. Now Farrell’s character’s life is filled with enough drama to write the screenplay, as long as he doesn’t get killed.
Seems like this will be yet another mixture of gangster movie meets comedy. Hopefully it’s off the caliber we’ve come to expect from McDonagh, the writer and director of “In Bruges”.
