"His and Hers" continues to receive international acclaim with the latest praise coming from Oscar winning film director Michael Moore.

Speaking about the award winning documentary on his website he described it as “One of the most moving and original films I’ve seen this year. No one has ever made a documentary like this one. In a summer of tired and stale movies from Hollywood, ‘His and Hers’ is a breath of fresh air blowing in from the midlands of Ireland.”

His and Hers is a cinematic mosaic that tells the story of 70 different Irish woman’s love stories, through their own admissions. Each woman speaks openly about that special man in their life. The film is currently being screened in select cinemas around Ireland.

Speaking on the success of the film, Director Ken Wardrop & Producer Andrew Freedman said “It’s incredibly exciting to have received such positive reactions from both critics and cinema-goers to our first film "His and Hers" As Irish filmmakers, it’s particularly encouraging to see a small film like “His & Hers” finding a large audience here at home.”

Its accolades include the George Morrison Award for Feature Documentary at this year's IFTAs, the Audience Award at the Dublin International Film Festival, the Feature Award in the Galway Film Fleadh, and the Cinematography Award at this year's Sundance Film Festival.

Watereskhill, the hong probably tells it all!
I am unable to decipher this purveyor of goods; otherways would consider a purchase.
Michael Moore is an absolute loon.
I think Moore, Cindy Sheehan, Sean Hannity, and Bill O'Reilly should all get together at a local Irish Pub and down a few pints.
Avemaria,Searlit,hyattsville.. Totally agree... MM takes important topics, and produces documentaries that educate while they entertain.
DaisysMom - Condemning Michael Moore while admitting to never having seen any of his documentaries is pretty dumb! His documentaries tackle difficult subjects and they educate. He came from a working class Irish-American Catholic family and became one of the World’s best known and respected film-makers. I’m sure any film maker would be delighted to have Moore’s seal of approval, and his recommendation will definitely encourage me to see it!
It sounds like an interesting film. As far as Michael Moore, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to stand up and speak the truth, especially when there are so many that don't wish to hear it. You can't get an understanding of what's really happening by listening to the mainstream media.
Well, the movie sounds interesting-obviously. And, even though I make up my own mind-I do respect Michael Moore tremendously. He is courageous and outspoken and a true American patriot-who knows the real meaning of patriotism and is against the war machine.
Michael Moore? Wow! Really?? Yeah, like I'd ever listen to a thing he said. Proud to say I have never seen one of his movies. Think I'll wait to see other reviews on this movie before I decide to see it.
Niall, why do you continue to believe that your audience cares about these far left whackos?
Michael Moore's opinion really doesn't mean all that much in the real world. That being said, the movie does sound interesting and I hope I'll be able to view it in the States
