The first anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death was marked by events around the globe this weekend and Dublin was no different.
Fans wishing to remember the pop superstar flocked to Dublin's Olympia Theater to catch impersonator Anthony Walker performing some of Jackson’s most famous dance routines and songs in his 'Man in the Mirror' show.
Another group of dedicated fans in Dublin released a number of heart-shaped helium balloons at Custom House Quay. The Dublin balloon release coincided with a similar one at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
In London a tribute plaque was unveiled and a zombie-themed Thriller Night took place in Melbourne, Australia.
