Matt Damon told Piers Morgan’s chat show last night that President Obama is not the same man he voted for in 2008.

During the 2008 presidential election campaign the Boston-born actor had been a vocal supporter of the Democratic president.

When presenter Morgan asked if Damon was happy with the way in which President Obama was running the country, he replied point blank “no.”

"I really think he misinterpreted his mandate. A friend of mine said to me the other day, I thought it was a great line, 'I no longer hope for audacity,'" Damon said. "He's doubled down on a lot of things, going back to education... the idea that we're testing kids and we're tying teachers’ salaries to how kids are performing on tests, that kind of mechanized thinking has nothing to do with higher order. We're training them, not teaching them,” Damon said.

The most desireous lines for Liberace 2012 : Michael says to Matt/Scott : Kiss my Wooloomooloo ! Matt says to Michael/Lee : Get your blowhole ready .
I can't vote, because I still like Obama, but I'm in total agreement with his opinion on what is happening to teachers
O'Bama go away far away and leave America to better people
Ah, Hollywood, I didn't know they all got a B.S. in Political Science, right after they made their first movie. What great political leaders we have, Matt Damon, Sean Penn, Charlie Sheen. We can't go wrong as long as we listen to them.
I substitute teach in Texas and I am shocked at what the kids do not know but they sure know what to prepare for on the Texas Assessment of Skillstest. Today they teach the test not the subject matter. No wonder so many are unprepared for the real world.
Matt Damon is correct. I voted for Obama but doubt if I would again were he to run in 2012. Too much double speak on Obama's part and too many concessions to the sworn enemy of democracy, the GOP! And for what? Nothing changes. The GOP is still made up of mad men. Just who is Barack Obama anyway? Does anyone really know?
Matt was reading from the wrong script.
It’s refreshing to hear that some of the Hollywood elite are finally coming to their senses about BHO. Being from Georgia, I can remember telling everyone how bad Jimmy Carter would be as President, because I remembered how bad he was as Governor. They did not believe me, until he got into office and started screwing things up. We can only hope more people will come to their senses before 2012, and help to make BHO one and done. If he’s reelected, the world can get in line and follow the USA right down the tubes. Somebody out there most know where BHO’s real birth certificate is located.
Emanuel and Axelrod put him in office, but it will take Daley and Plouffe to keep him there. After these two apply the needed discipline, Matt D. may again reconsider.
OBAMA HAS BEEN A COMPLETE FAILURE, BUT I'M SICK OF HOLLYWOOD NUTS GIVING PUBLIC STATEMENTS ABOUT OUR POLITICS! THEY, LIKE OBAMA DON'T WORK AND LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD!
Nice for Matt to finally see that Obama wasn't the man he claimed to be (even in 2008). If you paid attention, you could see even then that he was just saying what he had to in order to get elected. There were plenty of hints as to what his true intentions were. I would not even have voted that year if the opposition hadn't been running a senile old man and a Barbie-doll wannabee. So I'm not surprised at how Obama's helped the Right ten times more than he has the Left...nor am I surprised at how the Right still spits on him, even after all the gifts he's given them...nor am I surprised that he takes it, like a battered wife. As for seamusmoore -- what a pathetic life you lead. I'd feel sorry for you and your ilk if you were such vile people.
why such a supprise, most of us hard working poor seen it comming 1000 miles away
Oh those lefties! Always searching for, but never finding UTOPIA. What sad, miserable lives they must lead. Poor Matt Damon, he is unhappy that Obama did not make Howard Zinn's "A People's History of the United States" required reading for all sixth graders. As for arehole buddy, to paraphrase the commercial: AFFLECK!; DOUCHEBAG!
So what's wrong with chains you can believe in!
The fact that he no leadership experience before being elected on hope and change is coming home to roost.
