Martin Sheen is set to play the role of Peter Parker’s Uncle Ben in the new “Spider Man” movie. He will play alongside Sally Field, who is in negotiations to play Aunt May.

The role of Peter Parker / Spider Man will be played by Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone will play his love interest.

The reboot of the classic story will show Dr. Curt Connors become The Lizard on screen for the first time. The super villain will be played by Rhys Ifans.

The movie is set for release in July 2012.
