Mark Walhberg has been approached for the lead role in a remake of the massive cult movie “The Crow”.

It is believed that Walhberg could take on the famous role of Brandon Lee in the 1994 fantasy thriller. The remake will be directed by “Blade” filmmaker Stephen Norrington and written by musician Nick Cave.

Bloody Disgusting has reported that the movie will be set in Detroit. The movie tells the tale of Eric Draven, a man brutally murdered who returns to life as an undead killer, to avenge his own death.

Wahlberg is most famously known for his role is “Boogie Nights” and “Fear”. His more recent releases include “The Other Guys” and “Date Night”. He has also become widely known as the producer of the smash hit HBO series “Entourage”. His next role will see him play the role of the Irish boxer, Mickey Ward, in “The Fighter”.

I guess Hollywood has finally run out of original ideas, they seem to remaking everything these days but you shouldn't mess with a cult classic like The Crow! There is no one who can play Eric Draven like Brandon Lee.
No... what is wrong with Brandons CROW? Why would anyone want to mess with perfection. It was an amazing movie and you can tell by the sequels that no one matches Brandons Eric Draven. I love Mark in everything he does but just not in this.
