The first name Liam was the 15th most plentiful name for boys born in the U.S. last year. One wonders if some of these Liams are called after the Belfast-born actor.
Good news for Colin! He is the Greatest Living Irish Actor. The wonderful English Peter O'Toole was,of course, born in Richmond,Yorkshire, and Ballymena born Liam Neeson is also British and therefore; both are disqualified! Liam,Peter and Colin are each doing their separate countries UK&NI and Ireland proud, but lets keep the facts straight and not get carried away in a frenzy of falsely assumed National Identity. Btw,one of my personal 'Irish' favourites - the great and gifted Victor McLaglen was a Londoner and part of the British Establishment,to boot!
I'm sure Colin Farrell would say he was pleased to be considered in such a great company of actors.I've heard of him likened to Peter myself!
