Dull the pain vs time heals - great thought - that is just what happens. I have not found the passing of time to have helped my grief but I agree with the pain dulling (some days more than others).

Talking about it is, I think, cathartic and part of the grieving process - we all grieve in different ways and at different times. I disagree with those who say that "time heals." I find that it does, however, "dull the pain." We can all take a lesson from Erma Bombeck, who put pen to paper when she found out she was terminally ill.
