“Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” begins a week-long Bruce Springsteen tribute

This week Jimmy Fallon will play tribute to “The Boss” for a while week on his late night NBC show. Bruce Springsteen will also be appearing twice on the show this week to mark the event.
Fallon has launched the week in support of Springsteen’s new album “Wrecking Ball”. This week the show will feature various guests playing tunes from his catalog.
It’s planned that Springsteen and the E Street Band will drop by on 27th February, Monday and cap the week off on 2nd March, Friday with another performance and an interview section.
On Tuesday 28th, Kenny Chesney will perform “I’m on Fire” from “Born in the USA”, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Chesney covered the song on his album “When the Sun Goes Down” (2004). Also on Thursday Elvis Costello will perform “Brilliant Disguise” with the “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” house band, The Roots.
“Wrecking Ball” is out on 6th March. On 18th March Springsteen will kick off his world tour in Atlanta.
In November 2010 Springsteen appeared on the show and made a skit. Fallon dresses up as Neil Young and sung Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair” with Springsteen.
