The new co-host of ‘LIVE! with Kelly’ will reveal him or herself by striding onstage for the second episode of the show’s new season on 4th September, AP reported Monday.

For the first episode of the new season on Sept 3, Kelly Ripa will host the show alone for the first time.

Since Regis Philbin, the show’s creator, retired last November, Ripa has rotated through 59 different celebrity co-hosts. According to Disney-ABC producers, the new co-host has been chosen from amongst the co-hosts past.

Saturday Night Live’s Seth Meyers denied rumors he was the chosen one in an interview with the Orlando Sun-Sentinel earlier this summer.

“I’m very excited to be going back [to SNL] for the election season, which is always fun,” Meyers told the Sun-Sentinel.

Also onstage 4th September will be guests Claire Danes and Philip Phillips, according to Entertainment Tonight.
