The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been forever immortalized with a limited edition Royal Wedding Barbie gift set.
In honor of the biggest wedding of 2011, Mattel has created Prince William and Kate Middleton dolls which will coincide with the couple’s one-year wedding anniversary in April, Marketing Week reports.
The dolls will be wearing replica’s of their wedding day garments including Prince William’s red Irish Guards uniform tunic and Kate’s Alexander McQueen lace gown.
Priced at £63.50 ($100) the gift set is sure to be popular among royal wedding enthusiasts. Google figures revealed that the royal wedding was one of the most popular searched terms in 2011 in the UK.

Her Maj. is reputed to have insisted on him wearing "Irish Guard" uniform for his bethrodal. Then he's quoted as referring to his Gran' Ma'am's visit to the greater part of Ireland as like belated access to a locked room since her birth. Then She gives the Irish presdent a state gift of a sterling silver milk jug embossed with the EIIR royal motif on one side and the (un-crowned) harp of Ireland on the other, after speaking Irish at a state banquet at Dublin Castle, and talking of a partnership or equals, and wishing things had been done differently or not at all. Is it just me, or does EIIR miss us terribly, or needs us back in the Commonweatlth to stick her realm back togther again, with the Scots (and Welsh) threatening to leave, and teh Aussies threatening to go republican.
