Jimmy Kimmel’s “Movie: The Movie” skit stars Colin Farrell, Edward Norton and more - VIDEO
Start studded trailer is a massive viral hit
Forget the Oscars, on Sunday night was all about Jimmy Kimmel. As another snooze fest lulled half the planets viewing public a who's who of Hollywood's A-List appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to star in the biggest, baddest film trailer of all time.
It all began four months ago, when host Jimmy Kimmel set out to make a film trailer with one of the biggest casts featuring a combination of every genre.
The scintillating result is Movie: The Movie, a hilarious new trailer featuring (hold your breath here) Tom Hanks, Kate Beckinsale, George Clooney, Jason Bateman, Martin Scorsese, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Jeff Goldblum, Edward Norton, Don Cheadle, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Samuel L. Jackson, Cameron Diaz, Tyler Perry, Colin Farrell, Bryan Cranston, J.J. Abrams, Gary Oldman, Josh Brolin, Jessica Biel, Jason Bateman, John Goodman and many more.
Kimmel's 9-minute trailer was more entertaining than the entire Academy Awards. That's something the Academy might want to get on.
