joeustace....I read Chris Darden's book on the OJ trial. That man was devastated when OJ walked and gave up law because of it. He told us about the evidence they couldn't introduce for one legal reason or another...it was overwhelming. I am happy Jeff Ashton wrote the book...and have no problem if he makes money from it...he was Caylee's Steadfast Advocate...and he went for the death penalty because that is what he believed she DESERVED....the only ones that should not ever make money is an Anthony.

I don't have a problem with any of the prosecution team writing a book -- in fact I welcome it and hope to have some questions answered by the book. The prosecution team worked very hard to get justice for Caylee. It is not their fault they ended up with the jury the judge seated.
I have a problem with anyone making money off the death of a child when they were complicit in allowing the child's murderer to walk free.

Don't buy this book or any other written about this child's murder. If you want to give to charity that's great, make a direct donation to your favorite. Any information you might want to know about this misjustice can be found on line.

It does not bother me if the prosecutors, or her parents make money on this case. Her parents spent a ton of money because of her lies. Yes, I believe she is guilty, more guilty than OJ. I do not want to see Casey Anthony or Jose Baez or Geralso Riveria make a dime on this case. Why do we continue to make superstars of people who are Trash! I realize her parents love her (she is their daughter) but I cannot image that they like her very much.

Why not? Every body on the "other" side is doing it and he is giving his money to charity. He was under restraint in what he could do as a prosecutor due to having a "boss" over him as well as the law/ethics....whatever. Now he can say what he wants.

If it was his decision to charge first degree murder and seek the death penalty, this trial was over beore it started; just like the O.J. trial was over as soon as they moved it "downtown".
Should have backed off and charged an accidental death. She would be in jail now.

Nobody really cares about the losing side's book. Have you ever read Chris Darden's book about teh O.J. trial ? Didn't think so.
Although Ashton didn't make the bonehead move of hte century with a bloody glove like Darden, he still didi a prro job, in my opinion, alienating the jury and weakening an already weak circumstantial case. Sur eto be a snoozer, if it's like his trial work.

i agree jamieLM, just like a lawyer to think of another scheme to make a quick buck. sometimes i don't know who is worse, the defendant or the lawyers
But of course its the defendant, may she burn burn burn!!!

I thought he wouldn't pass up a chance to make big bucks on this case. I won't be helping him out by buying his book. I don't need to read his book to know that a little girl is dead and no one has explained the circumstances of how and why that happened and worse, no one has been held responsible for her death.
